Daimler: Efficient Torsional Vibration Analysis of Commercial Vehicle Drivetrains Using Script-Controlled SimulationX
System Modeling
Introduction
A new approach for efficient modeling, simulation control, analysis, and automated post-processing for torsional vibration topics in commercial vehicle drivetrains is presented. The model is built up in SimulationX with elements from a modular customer-specific library. After this, a special Code-Export process to create a Python module including the model as a callable function is performed. Python scripts control the simulation and the post-processing with order analysis. This makes it very easy to perform variation studies and present the results in a clearly arranged comparison.
