Design and Analysis of the Vibration-Isolated Installation of Machines and Equipment

Minimizing vibrations is an important goal for engineers when designing a machine and its mountings. One of the main optimization tools, ISOMAG, is no longer compatible with newer operating systems. In this video, we demonstrate how to use SimulationX to automatically calculate and report deflections, forces, mode shapes and important results for systems with up to ten isolation levels.
